Solve the Mystery in Best Served Cold

Rogueside Games, the independent Belgian developer and publisher, has released Best Served Cold, a detective-themed visual novel now available on PC via Steam for $17.99, with a 10% discount during its first week. The game will also launch on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S at a later date.

Set in an alternate-history version of Europe, Best Served Cold places players behind the bar at The Nightcap, the last speakeasy in the troubled city of Bukovie. As the bartender, you do more than mix drinks. You listen to your customers, uncover their secrets, and investigate a murder that reaches across every layer of society.

You will meet 20 unique characters, including wealthy socialites, crooked police, and criminals. Your conversations with them reveal vital information. Each drink you serve can encourage honesty, deception, or manipulation. Over five connected cases, you search for clues, question suspects, and try to protect both your bar and the lives of those around you.

Bukovie faces labor strikes, unrest, and the looming threat of war, but its people still flock to dance halls and hidden bars. Amid fading elegance and growing chaos, Best Served Cold offers a world where music plays on and danger lurks in every shadow.

The Nightcap offers more than just shelter from the storm. It becomes a place where stories unfold, secrets surface, and choices matter. With the doors now open, the night begins—and the truth waits to be uncovered.
